Danielle Bennette Dukes

Danielle Bennette Dukes is married to her college sweetheart, Dion Dukes, of 20 years, she has homeschooled her six children from birth, and is a native New Orleanian.

She began her classical education journey as a Foundations tutor with Classical Conversations and over a six year period served as an Essentials tutor, Foundations/Essentials director, Challenge B director, and Support Manager for Orleans, Jefferson, and Plaquemines parishes. Danielle has continued on her classical education journey by joining Circe Institute’s Apprenticeship program from which she will graduate in July.

She is a co-founder of Nyansa Classical Community, which is a nonprofit after school & Saturday enrichment ​program, which brings classical education to children in the Central City neighborhood of New Orleans.

Danielle has a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Florida A&M University. She opens her home to those wanting to know more about homeschooling and she often invites them to join her in her homeschooling efforts.  In her spare time she enjoys selling real estate and consulting with real estate investors and developers.
